Who we are
Fred Chart Reader is run by Chavivi Eaton, based in England. You can contact us at hello@fredcandle.com.
What Fred is, and isn't
- Fred is for education and practice, ideally on a demo account.
- Fred is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and does not give investment advice or personal recommendations. "Fred would…" describes how a tested rule works, not what you should do.
- Results come from back-tests on past prices. Past results don't guarantee future ones.
- Screenshots can be misread. Always check prices against your own chart and broker.
- Every decision to trade, and its outcome, is yours.
Who can use Fred
You must be 18 or over. One account per person, please. Don't share your account or try to get around the read limits.
Plans and payment
- Free accounts get 5 chart reads in total. Fred Learner (£9.99 a month) includes 100 reads a month. Fred Pro (£19.99 a month) includes 250 reads a month and the Pro features.
- Paid plans renew every month until you cancel. Cancel any time from Account, then "Billing and cancelling". You keep your plan until the end of the month you've paid for.
- Unused reads don't carry over to the next month.
- If you're a consumer in the UK, you normally have 14 days to cancel a new subscription. Because Fred starts working straight away, by reading a chart in that time you agree that you lose that right for the period you've used.
- We may change prices or plans. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a price change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.
Fair use
Don't misuse Fred: no automated scraping, reselling his output as a signal service, or attempts to break the service. We can suspend accounts that do.
Our responsibility
We'll run Fred with reasonable care and skill, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We're not responsible for trading losses, because Fred is a learning tool and every trade is your decision. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law, or our responsibility for anything the law doesn't let us exclude.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will show the date at the top. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
